Čuvena švajcarska planina Materhorn više neće biti na pakovanju čuvene švajcarske čokolade Toblerone, preneo je SEEBiz
Pored toga, najavljen je početak proizvodnje ove čokoladice u Slovačkoj.
Portparolka američke kompanije Mondelez internešenel, koja je vlasnik ovog brenda, potvrdila je da će na ambalaži biti modernizovani planinski logo, ali da će na logou ostati medved. Zadržaće se i potpis jednog od kreatora ove čokoladice Teodora Toblera.
Pored toga, ona je potvrdila da na ambalaži više neće pisati isključivo „Mejd in Svicerland (Sviss Made)” jer će deo proizvodnje biti u Slovačkoj. Međutim, nije jasno da li će vizuelne promene na ambalaži biti na pakovanju svake čokoladice ili samo na onim proizvedenim u Švajcarskoj.
Od 2017. godine, Švajcarska ima stroga pravila u vezi sa oznakom „Mejd in Svicerland“ kako bi se sprečila zloupotreba švajcarskih brendova. Proizvodnja Toblerona u Bratislavi trebalo bi da počne u drugoj polovini ove godine. U međuvremenu, proizvodnja se nastavlja u Bernu.
Toblerone su 1908. godine kreirali Teodor Tobler i Emil Bauman. Naziv čokoladica je kombinacija prezimena Tobler i italijanske reči "torrone", što znači nugat od meda i badema. Ovaj brend je promenio nekoliko vlasnika, a trenutno je u vlasništvu Mondeleza, piše portal swissinfo.
